NYA Solar Project

The utility-scale solar project at Nya spans 30 hectares (75 acres) and features a cutting-edge 24-megawatt photovoltaic array capable of producing clean, renewable energy for over 13,000 homes. Strategically located on Lot 30 at Nya, this landmark project has received full approval from both the President of Costa Rica and the Costa Rican Electrical Company. It also benefits from a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Costa Rican Electrical Company and a direct connection to the regional substation, ensuring long-term revenue stability and energy delivery efficiency. With ESA partnering and Cover Energy officially contracted to build the facility, the Nya Solar Project represents a major step toward Costa Rica’s sustainable energy future
